A Beautiful Life

Una Vita Bella means “a beautiful life” in Italian. I am not Italian, but I do love the romance languages of Spanish, Italian, and French. I love the idea of having a beautiful life despite its many challenges. I suppose some would say I have great challenges in my life and yet, in comparison to a large percentage of the world, my life is quite “easy”.

As I deal with health issues like fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, and ptsd, I want to share my experiences so that others may know they are not alone. As I face the “usual” life challenges of motherhood, parenting, relationships, etc. I want to share the joys and bumps along the road with the world, too. As an avid fan of social media you will find that discussed frequently here, too. As an activist, you will find me passionate and using my voice, often speaking out about topics that some may consider taboo or risky. That is the gift I offer those who are unable to speak out or write about it. This is where I find beauty in life, in all of these things, and in so much more…

I continue to be in transformation in my life, I suppose we all are, in one way or another. As I move through my current transitions and the many others certainly to come, I hope to bring more beauty out into the open by sharing my experiences, my beliefs, my opinions, my pain, my joys and my journey. I look forward to meeting you on the path.
